- Membership: Once approved, members receive a certificate to showcase their affiliation with Approved Movers, along with exclusive extras.
Compliance and Requirements
We’re committed to ensuring all our members operate in compliance with UK laws and regulations. While there’s no rigid definition in UK law for determining employment status, precedents like using own tools, freedom to choose work, and maintaining accurate financial records can indicate self-employment. Insurance requirements may include vehicle insurance, public liability insurance, and goods-in-transit insurance. As a business owner, it is your responsibility to ensure compliance, as failure to do so may result in penalties and financial implications.
Fair and Affordable Rates
After we’ve received your completed application form, we’ll begin our initial checks. This involves analysing your website content, inspecting your Social Media Business page, reviewing customer feedback, and getting in touch with your insurers to confirm your insurance details.
Following the completion of these checks, and once you’ve implemented any advice we’ve provided, we’ll send you an email detailing membership payment options. These include instructions for setting up a Standing Order or opting to pay an annual subscription, which gives you two months free.
Simultaneously, we’ll be working on creating an active profile for your company on the Approved Movers website. This profile will provide details about your company, the services you offer, your contact details and a backlink directly to your website, helping to promote your company to the public and other movers.
You’ll receive a framed certificate for your office – grab a photograph with it and promote it on your social media pages and website. Additionally, we’ll email a logo for you to add to your website, which should be posted with an outgoing link to Approved Movers.
