Our members, all of whom are removal companies, are expected to adhere to this Code of Conduct.
1. Professionalism and Competence
Our member companies are expected to demonstrate high skill, knowledge, and competence in their operations. They should strive for excellence in their services, continually updating their skills and expertise in line with industry developments. Their success in this area will be based on their maintaining positive feedback across all review sites, including Google Reviews, Trustpilot, and other applicable sites.
2. Honesty and Transparency
Honesty and transparency are key in all dealings with clients. Member companies must provide clear, understandable quotes and charges before work commences. Company Terms and Conditions should be easy to find on your site and outline your procedures and regulations. Full disclosure should be provided on all aspects of the services offered, including potential risks and limitations. Member websites and other promotional material must accurately depict the level of service the client can expect. The supplied vehicles must match those agreed with clients and not be switched to alternatives unless agreed in advance.
3. Respect and Dignity
All individuals should be treated with respect and dignity. This includes clients, colleagues, and the general public. Member companies should also show respect for clients’ properties and belongings, handling them with utmost care and consideration. Drivers and Management teams must take care not to take any action that brings any form of disrepute to either their company or to Approved Movers.
4. Confidentiality and Privacy
Member companies must respect the privacy and confidentiality of their clients. Personal information must be handled sensitively and securely in accordance with data protection laws. Under no circumstances should confidential information be disclosed unless legally obliged to do so.
